ZoomProspector.com Wins Second Place in U.S. Commerce Department’s “Business Apps Challenge”

The U.S. Commerce Department announced today that ZoomProspector.com has won second prize prize in the nationwide Commerce Business Apps Challenge. The high-profile judging panel that selected ZoomProspector.com included Vint Cerf, Chief Internet Evangelist at Google; Vivek Kundura, VP at Salesforce.com; Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer at Facebook; Tim O’Reilly, CEO of O’Reilly Media; John Bryson, Secretary of Commerce’ and Steven Van Roekel, CIO of the United States. The Department stated in its announcement that ZoomProspector.com “provides a way for new and expanding businesses to find, compare and deeply analyze communities and available properties nationwide. This tool will be valuable for American companies looking to expand their operations inside the United States or companies choosing to bring jobs back from overseas.”
